Paul Chong, a seasoned professional with 30 years in investment banking and private equity, is a Venture Partner at ARC Group and Managing Partner of Knights Capital Partners. Renowned for leading numerous SPAC listings globally, he co-founded TNG FinTech Group, Asia’s largest FinTech firm. Previously, as CEO of Creat Fund Management Group, he managed Rothschild and Mitsubishi private equity funds. With a global career in financial centers like New York, London, and Hong Kong, Paul held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, UBS Investment Bank, and Credit Suisse DLJ. His expertise in capital raising is demonstrated through successful IPOs on major stock exchanges.

Valentin is the Managing Director of ARC Group’s M&A division. Prior to joining ARC, he served as an Executive Director at CIGP in Hong Kong, where he oversaw the investment banking activities of the group in Asia, notably leading various M&A, restructuring & capital raising transactions across multiple sectors and geographies. Prior to CIGP, Valentin honed his skills as an equity derivatives trader at Credit Suisse in Zurich.

Xi Zhang brings 16 years of top-tier management consulting experience across Greater China, Southeast Asia, and Europe. His expertise lies in the intersection of strategy, business operations, and technology, with a strong focus on high-tech and manufacturing industries.

Prior to joining ARC Group, Xi was a Managing Director and Partner at BCG in Shanghai, where he spearheaded numerous transformative projects. He also spent seven years at McKinsey’s Stockholm office before returning to China in 2017.

Dr. Julianne Huh is a Strategic Partner for ARC Group. As a serial entrepreneur with business experience in Korea, China, Thailand and Malaysia, she brings her expertise in Education, IT, Fashion, Cosmetics, and F&B industries. And she is currently an Independent director for Nasdaq listed One Met Net Corporation and Aimei Health Technology Co. Ltd.

Investment banking capital markets professional with over 10 years experience in cross boarder deals and advisory. Nigel’s expertise spans across APAC markets leading numerous mid-market transactions and capital market services concerning IPOs, SPACs, M&A advisory, follow-on offerings, and more.

Nigel currently leads the capital markets deal advisory and execution practice out of Asia. The team specializes in creating liquidity opportunities for clients primarily through public markets. This includes traditional IPO’s, DeSPAC reverse mergers, and shell RTOs.

Eu Jin is the Managing Partner of Ong Eu Jin Partnership, with extensive experience in capital markets, M&A, and debt capital markets. He has advised numerous companies on successful IPOs across the Main Market, ACE Market, and LEAP Market of the Malaysian Stock Exchange, as well as Malaysian companies listing on the Hong Kong and Singapore stock exchanges.

In the M&A sector, Eu Jin has led multi-million-ringgit acquisitions, including transactions involving both listed and unlisted companies, as well as mandatory and voluntary general offers under the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers.

Ric was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia in 2019. Since then, he has been serving and providing advice to clients from local and abroad, including Malaysian GLCs, GLCs of the Republic of China, foreign and local financial institutions, international trust and investment funds, private equity firms, venture capitalists, investment bankers, MNCs, public listed companies and SMEs.

Ric regularly acts as the principal solicitor and/or Malaysian counsel in the corporate finance and capital market sector, advising corporate entities listed on KLSE, NASDAQ, ASX, HKEX and SGX. He is experienced in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, SPACs (as Malaysian Counsel), private placements, rights issues, SIS (ESOS), due diligence, providing legal opinion on Malaysian law and other capital market transactions.
